Double Up was a game show similar to the American comedy quizzer, You Bet Your Life.
Gameplay
In each episode, three pairs of contestants would spend some time talking with Hart, afterwhich they responded to quiz questions during the game. Each team started with $50, and on each question, they would bet in increments of $10 based on how much they wanted to risk. The pair who finished the show with the most money had an opportunity to double their cash prize towards the end of the show by answering one final question, with no penalty for an incorrect answer.
