Splatalot was a medieval themed children's version of Wipeout.

Gameplay

Kids aged 13-15 competed and were known as "The Attackers". The Attackers competed in crazy physical challenges while trying to avoid "The Defenders". The Attackers competed for capturing a crown to be king/queen.

Round 1: Crossing The Moat

This round saw the Attackers challenged with overcoming a series of large obstacles consisting of barrels, the battle axes, and the defenders. The six attackers with the fastest time would move on to the next round.

Round 2

This round had two formats.

Escape the Stockade (Season 1)

For this next round, the Attackers were trapped in a stockade. In order to escape, they had to grab steps of a ladder and their coloured flag in order to move on. The four fastest Attackers would move on to the final round.

Ditch the Dungeon (Season 2)

Contestants had to go up a long staircase; however, the defenders would make the stairs really slippery by using the trademark slime balls, a foam gun and the Vile Volley. Also, the Defender at the top of the stairs would use the Purple Plague (a cart full of purple balls) and the Balls of Doom. The four fastest Attackers to overcome the obstacles, ditch the dungeon, and capture the four flags advance to Round 3.

Bonus Round: Capture the Crown

In Round 3, the remaining four Attackers had to race across the obstacle-ridden courtyard, up to the tower where the crown was waiting. In their path were all six Defenders from both rounds taking up various positions around the courtyard, wielding various weapons and devices to impede the Attackers' progress. In the end, only one Attacker would make it past the Defenders and capture the crown, winning that week's episode.
